Kanye West Converts To Judaism, Says Holocaust Was A Choice
Controversial pop star Kanye West announced that he had converted to Judaism during an interview with Israeli tabloid show Tel AvivMZ, while also sparking controversy by claiming that the Holocaust was a choice. "Wow, six million Jews," said West. "Six million, that sounds like a choice."
"It's like us, as Jews, are living in our own psychological Holocaust. Always looking at the dark side of history, and we gotta change that," said West to a shocked group of staffers. "We can choose whether or not to live like this. Right now. Like in 2019. And I mean, wow, six million Jews. Six million, that sounds like a choice."
One staffer from Tel AvivMZ shouted at West, saying, "You're way too big to be saying this, oy vey. You're speaking from a point of insanity while I'm stuck in reality, and I really don't know how you got where you are right now, but it's scaring me, boychik."
West gave the reluctant staffer a hug while saying, "I love you. We should love each other. It's okay that we think differently. Say that you love me."
The hip-hop mogul later apologized on Twitter, writing that, "I am sincerely sorry to all that I offended. I am in no way downplaying the horrors that occurred in Nazi Germany. I am just speaking out against this psychological Holocaust that is mentally keeping my people in the concentration camps. We got to break free of this thought fascism. Shalom, my brothers and sisters. #MAGA"
