Bloods And Crips Unite To Set Precedent For Democrats And Republicans
Voters throughout the country were ecstatic to get into the voting booths this past Tuesday for the 2018 midterm elections – a definite surge among the youth especially.
The ballots have been tallied and it is concluded that the Democrats have the majority over the House of Representatives and the Republicans take the Senate.
Leaving both parties with victories of their own, this gives the Democrats an upper hand over the Trump administration – a known malevolent force within the United States government.
However, the question is raised – what could be better than an upper hand advantage for a political party in our government? Notorious street gangs, The Bloods and The Crips, believe peaceful revolution is the answer.
Leaders of both criminal organizations, who choose to remain anonymous, experimentally went into Yellowstone National Park together with bellies full of magic mushrooms. What they found was that they both long for their people to live in harmony, and that jazz music is a product of God.
“The dandelions told me that not only do I hold onto corruption within my own soul,” leader of The Crips suggests, “but I’ve been spreading negativity and war into my own gang – a macrocosm much larger than I am.”
Insight into the evils that exist within their own world highlighted that their criminal behavior has been a mirrored reflection of the crimes of their oppressors – The Democrats and Republicans.
“They’re red and blue too, how trippy is that?” asks anonymous leader of The Bloods. “It’s like they hold the same type of power over their communities that we hold over ours – just on a larger scale.”
Out of curiosity, I asked leaders of both gangs to explain how their gangs hold similarities to the political parties. Their response was shocking.
“Alright, so both of our conflicts damage our communities and prevents peaceful growth, we all rock red and blue, we kill people, we use gang signs, we avoid paying taxes, and we protect drug dealers. Only difference is that we go to jail and use a no snitch policy.”
They’re absolutely right – the rivalry between Democrats and Republicans has been hindering over the growth of our communities since the conception of our government. Why be at war when we can focus on being productive?
The leaders of the gangs are open to finding a happy medium between their differences – with the willingness to take some wins and some losses if necessary. The goal here is total peace between the gangs and their communities, and to be an example for our divided government.
