Donald Trump Sends Israeli Army To Mexican-American Border Just To Play It Safe
President Donald Trump deployed the Israeli army to the Mexican-American border on Wednesday to stop the Honduran migrant caravan from entering the United States. Trump told Flake News reporters that he made this decision "just to play it safe" and that "Israeli snipers did a fantastic job with the Palestinians at the Gaza Strip earlier this year, really kept those troublemakers at bay."
In April 2018, Israeli forces wounded 955 Palestinians and killed three during a heated protest at the Israel-Gaza border. Trump was reportedly impressed by Israel's forceful measures to protect their border, calling it "a beautiful moment for anyone who wants to separate humanity into segregated camps by violence."
Trump has previously warned that he would send US military forces down to the Mexican border to prevent the migrant caravan from making passage. However, he has since changed his mind, saying that "I recognize Israel's undying commitment to protect borders by any means necessary. Therefore, I feel as if their army, particularly their snipers, would be better at preventing migrant passage than American troops, some of which are Latinos and dirty liberals, and you know we can't have a mixed loyalty here."
Numerous political leaders in Latin America have condemned these practices as "exceedingly cruel and inhumane, especially since there are small children and pregnant women in the caravan" and that "this is what being deplorable looks like."
According to a UN official, the migrant caravan has grown to 7,200 people. Trump said that he will reportedly prevent this passage with "those fantastic soldiers from Jewish Wakanda, better known as Israel. They'll have them scattering back down the border in no time. They have no problem shooting at large numbers of unarmed protesters. My kind of guys."
