Jason Kander Delivers Crippling Attack On Trump...By Writing Book On Courage
Kansas City mayoral candidate and one of four Democrats who knows how to talk to people in the middle of the country, Jason Kander, recently published a book entitled "Outside the Wire." The book focuses on lessons in "everyday courage." The White House has perceived this as a direct attack on the president.
"Lying about having bone spurs does not disqualify someone from being courageous," Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders argued. Trump courageously raised the issue on Twitter, depicting Kander as "a total loser who spent years in the deserts of Afghanistan or Iraq or wherever the hell we're at war."
The book is a bestseller, resonating with people everywhere. There has been some pushback from white nationalists who don't like it when Democrats talk about their military service. "Unless you're willing to use your service to deflect questions about responsibility of foreign policy that got us into wars, I don't want to hear about it," one tiki torch carrying ex-Klan member explained.
We caught up to Kander at an event he was hosting raising money for "Moms Demand Action," the gun control advocacy group. In response to Trump, Kander said he has "No problem with the president," a man who has "displayed incredible courage in many instances ranging from trying to take healthcare from over twenty million people who could vote him out of office in a short two years, to siding with white nationalists over peaceful protesters when almost everyone found it despicable." He explained that "The president has his own brand of courage, a courage to do what's wrong even while it's also unpopular."
