Roman Polanski Advises Harvey Weinstein To Flee Country, Make Holocaust Movie, Win Oscar
Academy Award-winning director and convicted fugitive child enthusiast Roman Polanski has reportedly advised disgraced Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein to "flee the country and make a Holocaust movie," stating that "Hollywood will have to give you an Oscar," according to one anonymous source close to the director. Polanski said that it "worked for [him]" and called the #MeToo Movement "mass hysteria."
Weinstein has been accused by more than 80 women of various degrees of sexual misconduct, with crimes ranging from sexual harassment to rape. On May 25, 2018, he was arrested and charged with crimes related to incidents involving two women. The detained Weinstein was later bailed out for a million dollars and surrendered his passport over to authorities.
Roman Polanski reportedly told Weinstein "don't be a wuss, fly over to France like I did and Hollywood will forget about it and kiss your butt."
In 1977, Polanski was arrested and convicted of having unlawful intercourse with a minor. He served 42 days for his crime, but fled the country for France before his formal sentencing after he heard the judge assigned to his case planned on giving him a stiff sentence. Polanski reportedly felt that an "unwarranted stiff punishment" was only suitable for vulnerable little girls and not for wealthy filmmakers who commit crimes on children.
A total of ten women have come out, claiming that Polanski had assaulted or abused them. One of the victims told The Sun newspaper that she was 10-years-old when she was allegedly molested by him.
Polanski reportedly told Weinstein "not to worry" and jokingly asked him, "do you really think Hollywood cares this much about assault on women?" The infamous director added that "the so-called good people of Hollywood gave [him] an Academy Award and a standing ovation, all with the knowledge that [he] fled legal responsibility for drugging and assaulting a 13-year-old."
Both Polanski and Weinstein reportedly shared many laughs during the discussion. Weinstein noted it's "very fitting" that Polanski famously committed a crime with his penis and then won an Oscar in 2003 for a film titled "The Pianist."
Polanski reportedly advised Weinstein to make a film in exile called "The Fat Pianist" about an overweight piano player who successfully conceals his Jewish identity and as a result isn't persecuted and personally performs beautiful music for Adolph Hitler and his Nazi generals. Polanski noted that the main character of the film will be "one big fat traitor to humanity who isn't bothered by the pain and suffering of the vulnerable."
