Rosenstein: Mueller Likes It Nice And Slow, But Trump Prefers It The Hard Way
Washington, DC -- US Deputy Attorney General described in graphic detail his encounters with special counsel Robert Mueller and President Donald Trump as he announced the indictments of 12 Russian nationals for hacking the Democratic National Committee prior to the 2016 presidential election.
“Robert, he’ll take his sweet little time. It’s a real slow burn. You think he’s done, but he has so much more left in the tank. Real boring at first, but then ooooooooh my. He’ll hit you with the shocker,” Rosenstein said while stroking his glasses.
“The president, we know about the president. It’s all talk, not much action. A lot of bravado, a lot of flapping wings, not a lot of substance though. He enjoys it hard, with not a lot of regulation. No rules. It sounds better than it is, believe me.”
Rosenstein continued while curling his hair with a finger, “If I had to choose one, well, darn don’t make me choose just one, haha. I serve at the pleasure of the president, but that special counsel sure has some special powers. He can sequester me any day.”
The deputy attorney general blushed and scurried away.
