Donald Trump To Captain America: 'I Like Soldiers Who Weren’t Frozen In Ice For 70 Years'
In a stunning tweet sent out this morning, President Donald Trump attacked The First Avenger Steve Rogers. More commonly known as Captain America, Rogers was singled out by Trump as “lazy because he was frozen in ice for 70 years.” The president said he prefers soldiers who “weren't frozen in ice,” then proceeded to tweet examples of how he is more American than Captain America.
This attack bears a striking resemblance to Trump's prior criticism of Senator and former POW John McCain. Trump said then that he preferred soldiers who weren’t captured and it's common origin story lore that Captain America was frozen after he crashed a Nazi plane into the Antarctic during World War One. It seems no veteran is safe from the current dictator trying to take over the world.
Captain Rogers told us, while he was feeding his eagle, “I prefer to fight real billionaires like Tony Stark, not clowns in orange makeup.” Captain America re-enlisted in the armed services after he was unfrozen as a member of The Avengers Initiative, helping save the world countless times, while President Trump dodged the draft 5 times with a bone spur in his ankle.
