Trump-Putin Summit: Anxious Dennis Rodman Unsure Of His Place In All This
Pyongyang, North Korea -- Former NBA bad-boy and current global humanitarian Dennis Rodman wondered aloud today about his place in the upcoming summit meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump.
“I have a real close relationship with Kim Jong Un. I mean, that’s why I’m still here. Bunk bed situation in the palace. It’s good stuff. But now the press is onto this new Helsinki summit in July. I didn’t hear my name mentioned one time,” Rodman told us with his sunglasses on inside Kim’s dark sleeping quarters.
“I’m the guy who invented ‘the summit.’ I don’t really get enough credit for that. Dictators love me. I bring everyone together, that’s just what I do. I’m the gel that holds it all together. What’s my role during this upcoming meetup? How can I help?
Kim entered the room and appeared uneasy. It seemed he was eavesdropping on our entire conversation.
Rodman was flustered. “No, no, no. Kim. Kim! It’s not what you think. We’re just talking here. I talk to everyone. All the dictators. That don’t mean anything. Don’t worry about that. Don’t worry about that my little Kimmy.
The North Korean leader would not comment, but as we left, the two appeared to back at their game of UNO.
