Donald Trump And Kim Jong Un To Hash It Out On The Court
Ahead of a historic summit in Singapore, former NBA star Dennis Rodman announced on Monday a United States “Dream Team” will play a high-stakes basketball game against representatives of North Korea’s government.
Rodman, who was informally invited to attend the summit, told stunned reporters the US delegation will “take on” North Korea’s delegation in a full court, four-on-one, “no-holds-barred street fight of a ball game.”
The Dream Team includes President Donald Trump, point-forward and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, mustachioed two-guard National Security Advisor John Bolton, enforcer White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and White House Press Secretary and WNBA Least Valuable Player Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
North Korean State Television (KCTV) reported Kim Jung Un “alone” will represent his nation on the court.
Just twenty-four hours before the most important opening tip in the history of the game, both leaders engaged in some friendly, nuclear-charged, trash talk.
Trump said, “Rocketman is about to be tested like never before. I will reign fire and fury on him the likes of which the world has never seen.”
“The mentally deranged dotard will rue the day he stepped onto the court with the man who invented the game,” said Kim Jong Un.
Rodman told reporters the stakes are very, very high. “Everyone’s coming out of the arena bloody. The stakes are really [expletive] high,” said Rodman. “Whoever wins the game, wins the summit. Whoever wins the summit controls the [expletive] nukes.”
