Trump Praises Libyan Models In Defense Of North Korea Summit Cancellation
During remarks at the White House, President Donald Trump was asked why he had cancelled the North Korea Summit and then labeled it a setback. President Trump responded, “Very sad. A sad thing. And we have the big one. Very big. Ready to go. Red phone on speed dial.”
A local reporter queried further. “Why,” she asked, “did Vice President Pence reference the Libya model? Was it to provoke Kim Jong Un?” An aide stepped forward and tried to hand Trump a note, which the president waved away before replying, “Libya. Libyan models, Beautiful models. Little Kim. He has models too. Incredible models. All a game. More people at my inauguration. Biggest crowd.”
A senior staff member stepped forward and took the president's elbow in an apparent move to help him exit the room. Trump however turned toward the camera. “Enduring peace. Talk to my lawyer. It’s a witch hunt -- Many beautiful people hurt --- Sad. Very sad.” Trump then shouted “Keep America Great!” and left the room.
