White House Physician Reassigned To US State Department
In a written statement on Monday, Deputy White House Spokesman Raj Shah said Ronny Jackson will be reassigned to the State Department. Shah said, “In a press conference later this afternoon, the President will formally announce Dr. Jackson’s appointment as US Ambassador to South Korea.”
Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician and Trump’s most recent appointee to lead the Veterans Administration, has been under intense scrutiny recently due to allegations of drinking on the job and liberally distributing prescription drugs to White House staff members.
A source familiar with the matter said, “Trump thinks the Candy Man is the perfect guy to help the North and South Koreans broker a peace deal.”
Trump alluded to today’s announcement while speaking at a rally for supporters in Michigan on Saturday. The president said, “What do you think of what I did with the Koreans? Is that something, or what? Guess what, I’m not done. I’m going to get Moon and Rocketman so drunk and stoned, they’re not going to know what hit them.”
“People are happy when they’re drunk. Narcotics make people agree to do things they would never agree to do. Believe me,” Trump said.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
