Fox News Disappointed Sean Hannity Did Not Disclose Personal Relationship With Sponsor Pepto-Bismol
New York, NY -- Fox News chairman Rupert Murdoch expressed disappointment with network personality Sean Hannity for failing to disclose personal ties to a product on his eponymous talk show.
Hannity has been suffering from mixed extreme bouts of both constipation and The Runs. Pepto-Bismol is known as “the big one” in Fox News circlesfor its dominant force around the network, often not letting anything out of its tight grip.
While his television show does not feature Ex-Lax as an advertiser, his radio show has done spots for the “gentle, dependable relief” stimulant. Hannity expressed remorse for failing to notify his radio and television bosses of his close association with the products, but hopes “everything will come out right away, all of it.” Of course, Hannity would like to “get everything behind us.”
While it’s easier said than done, Hannity seems to have assured Murdoch his personal relationships will not have an effect on his business. “My television show will be free and clear of any personal interests going forward, smooth sailing. You might say we’ve got wind in our sails. No more blockages. We good. [inaudible fart noises] Farts.”
