New Gun Control Poll Reveals It Probably Wasn’t The Greatest Idea To Call Gun Owners After Midnight
Washington, DC -- Pollsters felt immediate regret following some late-night phone calls to gun owners asking their thoughts about the possibility of new gun control measures, according to several reports early this morning.
“The combination of the post-midnight call time and nature of the question was probably not the wisest move,” Private Pollsters & Polling CEO Clyde Dalesby commented. “We’re going to look back into how we collect our data and will try not to suddenly awaken gun owners from their sleep. We seem to have just made some paranoid people even more paranoid, and with good reason.”
Phone pollster Maggie Friedrich was looking forward to her first night on the job, but the shift didn’t exactly work out as planned. “I would say I felt threatened, I was called names, and I’m just glad we didn’t knock on doors that late as was the original plan.”
