McConnell And Ryan Assure Republican Mistrust In FBI Only Temporary Until Democrat Elected President
Washington, DC -- At a joint press conference this afternoon, a conciliatory Senator Mitch McConnell and Representative Paul Ryan indicated that their party’s mistrust and disapproval of the FBI is only temporary until a Democratic president is elected in 2020.
The Majority Leader and Speaker of the House assured the world their recently released memos and critical Tweets of FBI investigators will never happen again after a new president is elected in 2020.
“At that point, we will need the FBI to investigate whoever the president would be, whether it’s Bernie, or Adam Schiff, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, God who knows, so we’ll need them on our side” Ryan said.
McConnell added, “We’re just doing this whole FBI mistrust thing to drag our feet a little longer on the Trump Train, hell, it’s a been a great ride but we all know it's almost Mueller Time.”
