What He Misses Most? Obama Bemoans Missed Uranium Two Deal Opportunity In First Interview After Presidency
New York, NY -- In an intimate interview with David Letterman released this week, Barack Obama spoke about more quality time with family, the direction of America, future endeavors, and his frustration with “just missing out” on setting up a Uranium Two Deal with Hillary Clinton. The sit-down is now being aired as part of the new Netflix show ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman’.
While the former president expresses his fondness and love for wife Michelle and his two daughters, he can’t quite let go of leaving office so soon. “Those eight years whizzed by, we were just on the precipice of setting up another one of those secret Russian-U.S. uranium deals, and we were even going to bring Hillary back into the fold like the old days,” referring to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"It just didn’t work out in time for whatever reason. You know, Vlad will be Vlad sometimes.”
